THIS WEEK'S DIVINE WELLNESS RETREAT

Meditation:

“I will be strong in the Grace that is in Christ Jesus”

Health Tip:

How to Balance Your Diet

Start with Breakfast: If you don't already eat breakfast, start. Countless studies have shown a link between skipping breakfast and obesity. If you already eat breakfast, keep it healthy, starting with a whole grain cereal.

Spiritual Retreat: God's Grace

"It is by Grace that we are saved" - Ephesians 2:8

It took me several years to realize that I had to accept His grace in order for it to manifest into my life. Grace is something that is also strengthened over time.

We grow in grace by:

1. Knowing Him intimately and having a strong sense of what he expects from us (Our Purpose).

2. Remaining Faithful to His word and paying attention to our experiences.

3. Believing we are worthy regardless of what we did or neglected to do in the past.

The Bible teaches us that if by grace, then it is no longer by works, if it were, grace would no longer be grace (Romans 11:6).

What does God want from us?

"'Do I eat the meat of bulls? Do I drink the blood of goats? Make
thankfulness your sacrifice to God, and keep the vows you made to the
Most High. Then call on me when you are in trouble, and I will rescue
you, and you will give me glory. But giving thanks is a sacrifice that
truly honors me. If you keep to my path, I will reveal to you the
salvation of God.'"
Psalm 50:13–15, 23

He wants our hearts. He wants our gratitude,

Stand!

[Earnestly] remember the former things, [which I did] of old; for I am God, and there is no one else; I am God, and there is none like Me, declaring the end and the result from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure and purpose.
